NETCOM
is a device developed to send commands (for instance
those generated by MAXIMUM
automation software) through ETHERNET 10 Base/T
network to different groups of audio switchers located
in various areas of a studio.
Netcom is made of a one unit rack
and it's provided of a RJ45 socket that allows a
network connection to which corresponds a specific
IP (each device has its own).
NETCOM's LAN module talks with
the SERVER thanks to a dedicated protocol, AEV copyright.
The commands interpretation is made by a uC to which
the peripheral's management is assigned.
NETCOM is a modular equipment.
It's base is made of a power supply, a LAN module,
a CPU and an I/O group. Optionally there can be
installed up to 5 I/O modules. Each
I/O module controls 4 opto-isolated inputs and
4 opto-isolated output.
